Stroke Odysseys
Stroke Odysseys is an opportunity for those who have had a stroke to become part of a unique creative community.
Stroke Odysseys offers a participatory arts practice combining movement, music and song-writing that helps to overcome the anxiety, depression, and lowered self-esteem that so often hamper stroke recovery.
This is an innovative approach to adjustment and recovery after stroke….I believe it will engage with many patients in a different way from a typical functional therapy approach. The ability to engage with music and movement regardless of physical or language impairment is a particular strength of this project. I have been impressed by the thorough approach by Rosetta Life and their engagement with patients, carers and clinicians in developing the project.
