Ambassadors

What is an Ambassador?

An Odysseys Ambassador is someone living with brain injury who has taken part in an Odysseys project – they have attended workshops and performed on stage and then choose to continue their involvement as an ambassador as part of a local performance company.

We provide an Ambassador training course covering performance skills and volunteer training.

Ambassadors offer peer support for people beginning the journey towards rebuilding their lives. Ambassadors tour performances, give presentations and continue to develop the Odysseys programme with us.

One of the most powerful legacies of an Odysseys project is the potential for setting up a sustainable group of Ambassadors who continue to create and perform together and support the participation of people in a locality living with brain injury in future creative projects.
